The East Bay Eco-Health Network &
Tri-Valley Vegetarian Society Presents:

Dr. Ariel Tel-Oren, MD

The Biochemistry of Health and Disease - pH Realities and Myths

Dr. Tel-Oren returns to education us about a huge topic in the media and health and wellness arena now.... Alkalizing your body! There are many other factors involved in our biochemistry that can affect and impact the amount of acid and alkalinity in our bodies that we need to know about! We will also enjoy the tasty creations of Lisa Books-Williams. Lisa will prepare snacks that will keep us awake and full of energy as we listen to Dr. T!

Most health-aware people have learned from popular magazine and the internet about the importance of "alkalizing their body" - without the real science. There are many confusions surrounding this issue as a result. This is about simple biochemistry, but most popular writers have not been trained in the sciences, therefore they tend to parrot what they've heard and learned to believe... This lecture will disperse the fog of confusion and give you knowledge from which you can benefit immediately!

BONUS: After the lecture you can enjoy a light healthy gourmet raw meal w/ dessert by Chef Lisa Books-Williams for an additional $5.00 ($20.00 total) and "talk time" with Dr. Tel-Oren. We offer this opportunity for up to 10 guests. Please send an email to Lisa if you would like to participate in the dinner after the talk.
