Alzheimer's, Dementia, & Cognitive Impairment

In 2007, Lisa completed the Dementia Care Practice Guidelines program through ATRA (American Therapeutic Recreation Association). She has worked with with seniors in independent living, senior living, skilled nursing, geriatric psychiatry and memory care facilities with mild to severe cognitive deficits. She provided creative thematic group and individual interventions to stimulate and retain cognition in her clients and patients. Additionally, Lisa has the personal experience of having cared for a family member with Alzheimer's Disease. Individuals can sponsor Lisa to do a cognitive group at a care facility or spend 1:1 time doing theraputic cognitive and sensory stimulation activities. Pricing on a case to case basis.
